POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS

This technique (trademark Li-HAP ®) uses the measurement of 16 molecules considered as tracers (HAP16) in lichens according to a precise mode of sampling. The analysis are done by certified laboratories.

The Environmental deposits of HAP16 are measured and integrated into a comparative interpretation of local witnesses.
The possibilities of diagnosis and follow-up were revealing during the setting of the technique according to the variations of the PAH lichens content according to the variations of the lichen content with the traffic intensity and urban density.
The content of the HAP in lichens is in balance with the average atmospheric contents.

Our recent studies show the interest of the follow-up of the Atmospheric HAP in cities within the establishment of public transport network.

The profile of the compound PAH16 can vary according to the nature of emissions (Industry, urban density, traffic). Points of biomonitoring are then selected.
